I fondly remember pretending to be
A particle of light
Shooting from the sun
And I recall actually once believing
As a spiritual child
I was a shard of the moon
Shining down
Into various windows
But now I am aware I am
Something never noticed
That is neither light nor darkness
That lies undisturbed
On the ground
As you walk on by.
