It’s not so bad-
the car rolls back from its tilted display
while the sales girl in red
invites to play for the win.
It’s not so bad-
so low down I feel escaping the car,
almost find the hell I know
I have here within.
It’s not so bad
to find and to lose the sand grain
and to breathe it in so the blood
streams it to the heart,
and it’s not so bad
to forget what I desire to say
in the first place.
I grab my hand and shove myself
into the fall.
