massive oak
ancient
sprang forth
from the grounded ark
crowning this mountain
guarding domain
dreams – elusive darings
rooted into the soil
aspirations clung to
steaming summer
eve lead to night
rain – wind
deluge
lightning strike
thunderous crash
uprooted – shattered
the diseased elm
appears more regal
